Lessons are geared to all abilities, ranging from beginners to Spanish 3 and college level. Adult learners who want to improve their Spanish or simply begin their journey will also benefit from my approach to tutoring. I specialize in Spanish grammar, vocabulary building, and conversation. Spanish has been a passion of mine since I first studied it back in college years ago. I have visited Spain and traveled through Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. I love the Spanish language and the rich culture and history it preserves. For beginners, my program will begin with a lesson on how to improve your Spanish pronunciation. Each of our sessions will have a mix of beginning grammar, conversation, and situational learning--e.g., Spanish terms for travelers and notes of Mexican culture (e.g., the quincenañera and Dios de los Muertos.) For advanced students, I will help them keep up in class and master some of the more difficult Spanish grammar challengers--verb tenses, for example. I'll show you how to build a vocabulary and pick up new words through association with similar words and terms. We'll jumpstart your learning through some computer and internet shortcuts that you can instantly use to translate and employ what you learned in everyday situations.
